The Horse Corps was organized in 1977.  The Unit consists of 20 members and 6-horse hitch of Belgium horses, one surrey and six out-riders.  The official uniform is Mountain Men buckskin outfits.  The Unit participates in all El Riad Ceremonials and also makes appearances throughout the area during the year.  At the Midwest Summer Session in Winnipeg, Canada in 1991, they won the President’s Trophy for the Best Unit in the Parade.
